SeriesOut of the Box Date15th June 1992DescriptionOut of the Box 1992 began with the Opening Parade on the 15th of June 1992. The parade featured 3,000 children and was a collaboration between teachers, children, parents and artists. The parade was part of the Artists in Residency program which allowed twenty schools to work with six artists to create the event.

A booklet was also developed for the schools involved in the parade. The booklet was designed for teachers and provided them with examples on how they could encourage their students to participate in the parade. This included craft activities and suggestions on how to sing and walk.
