The Royal Ballet performed with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Woolf Works was inspired by the works of author Virginia Woolf specifically Mrs Dalloway, Orlando and The Waves.
As part of the 2017 International Series there were a variety of events for the public. The first event was 'We All Dance' which brought together seven community groups who performed with dancers from The Royal Ballet. This performance was free and held on the Melbourne Street Green on the 2nd of July 2017. There was also a series of 'Let's dance' events held throughout The Royal Ballet's residency.
Other events included a Creative Insight into Woolf Works with Wayne McGregor and a Creative Insight into The Winter's Tale with Christopher Wheeldon.
