SeriesQPAC Opening CelebrationsDate20th April 1985DescriptionThe Street Parade marked the start of a three week long Opening Celebrations Festival and involved the collective efforts of thousands of members of arts sport and community organisations. Led by the Band of the Grenadier Guards, the RAAF, military and district bands, the Parade moved over the Victoria Bridge and paused below the Cremorne Theatre balcony to greet the Duke and Duchess of Kent prior to the official opening of QPAC.
